Intergeneration: Building Queer Community Across the Ages Through Art

An interdisciplinary arts project that builds queer community between lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people of all ages through the creation of theatrical performances, paintings, new media works, photography, video narratives, storytelling and poetry.

Background:

Members of the queer community have joined project founder, Frank Pietronigro, and other professional San Francisco Bay Area artists for an ongoing, evolving, collaborative arts project that seeks to build community across age groups and address issues of aging and agism in the LGBT community.

Activities include Creative Workshop Encounters that culminate in a Performance Series and other art projects that are presented free to the public during the month of June.
